• 5/4” Frame grade (or better) alder hardwood (A renewable resource)

• Joints are double doweled, (5/8” spiral dowels) glued, screwed and nailed

• Corner blocked, gusseted and screwed or lag bolted as necessary

• Exposed wood portion of frames can be manufactured in Maple, Beech, Mahogany and Exotic Woods

 

Seat Foundation

 

• Sinuous (no sag) springs construction

• 8 gauge spring wire (manufactured from recyclable material)

• 5 inch or less spacing on center

• Noise abating coated spring clips

• Lateral stabilizing wrapped edge wire

• 2 ounce bonded polyester insulator

• Option – Pirelli webbing

• Option – 2-8 way hand tied 8 gauge coil springs set on Indian jute webbing

 

Back Springing

 

• Sinuous (no sag) springs construction

• Pirelli webbing

• 11 or 12 gauge wire 

• Lateral stabilizing wrapped edge wire

• 2 oz bonded polyester insulator

• Body Padding:

• 85/15 gin flues cotton

• Flexible polyurethane foam of appropriate IFD

• Bonded polyester fiber

• 1.1 oz low melt Dacron

 

Cushions

 

• High quality 1.8lb to 2.5lb / cu ft HR flexible polyurethane foam of appropriate IFD

• Polyester fiber wrap 1.1oz to 1.5oz low melt

• Option – Marflex spring coils encased in 1.8 to 2.5lb / cu ft flexible polyurethane foam of appropriate IFD

• 10/90 or 25/75 down wrap over flexible polyurethane foam core encased in down proof channeled ticking (down proof ticking meets CA TB117 & NFPA 260)

• TRILLIUM Memory Fiber Fill over flexible polyurethane foam core encased in down proor channeled ticking.  Note: Trillium fiber is a hypoallergenic alternative to down with a 75% longer life and memory without sacrificing comfort.  

• Breathable synthetic fabric bag enclosed non bonded polyester fiber (Dacron fill)
